These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website onwardx.org, the Onward Exchange community platform, and all associated services operated by Onward Exchange LLC ("Onward Exchange," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, submitting a form, or enrolling in our SMS messaging program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Description of the Messaging Program

Onward Exchange operates an SMS messaging program designed to ensure optimal customer support and to respond to service-related inquiries in a timely and effective manner. The program includes the following message types:

  • Service updates: Information about your membership status, community platform access, and changes to our services

  • Appointment confirmations: Confirmation messages are sent when you schedule an alignment call or community event with a member of our team

  • Appointment reminders: Reminders sent prior to scheduled calls or events to help ensure you are prepared and connected

  • Responses to service inquiries: Direct replies to questions or requests you initiate through our website forms or direct outreach

  • Community information: Updates related to the Onward Exchange founding cohort, membership availability, and program announcements

This program is available to individuals who have opted in through our website forms or through a direct verbal agreement during an outreach conversation with an Onward Exchange team member.

2. Opt-In and Enrollment

You may enroll in our SMS messaging program by:

  • Checking the SMS consent checkbox on any form at onwardx.org, which reads: "I agree to receive text messages from Onward Exchange about my inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

  • Verbally agreeing to receive text messages during a direct conversation with a member of our team

By opting in, you consent to receive the message types described in Section 1 from Onward Exchange LLC at the phone number you provided.

3. Opt-Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to +1 (612) 232-3165. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, you can sign up as you did originally and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

4. Support

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance. You may also contact us directly at membersupport@giveonward.org or by phone at +1 (612) 232-3165. Our team will respond to your inquiry as promptly as possible during normal business hours.

5. Message Frequency, Rates, and Carrier Liability

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with our service. You may receive messages at different intervals depending on your stage in the membership process, whether you have a scheduled call, or whether you have made a service inquiry.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Onward Exchange is not responsible for any delays in SMS delivery that result from issues with your mobile carrier or network.

6. Age Restriction

By using this service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years old, you may not use or access our services or opt into our messaging program. Our website and community platform are not intended for individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Privacy Policy

Your use of the messaging program and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including your SMS opt-in data and mobile phone number.
